Appendix A: Toolbox

The Microsoft Office 2003 Editions Resource Kit tools are designed to help you customize, configure, and deploy Office 2003 within your organization. If you have the Office 2003 Resource Kit CD, you can install the core tools and support documents through one integrated Setup program. The tools are also available for download on the Office 2003 Resource Kit Web site at http://www.microsoft.com/office/ork/2003.

Answer Wizard Builder

The Answer Wizard Builder enables you to create your own Answer Wizard content to address questions specific to your organization. Users sometimes submit queries to the Answer Wizard (the intelligence engine behind the Office Assistant) that the Answer Wizard cannot answer because the question is unique to your situation. A user might ask for the path to a printer on your local network, for example, or ask for the location of a form on your intranet.

You can use the Answer Wizard Builder utility to add custom Help content to any application that uses the Office Assistant. The Answer Wizard Builder is supported on computers running Microsoft Office 2003 or Office XP.

Install the Answer Wizard Builder

The Answer Wizard Builder is automatically installed on your computer when you install the Office Resource Kit. To locate the tool, click the Start button, point to Programs, point to Microsoft Office, point to Microsoft Office Tools, point to Microsoft Office Resource Kit, and then click Answer Wizard Builder.

The Answer Wizard Builder can also be downloaded from the Toolbox on the Office 2003 Resource Kit Web site.

Resources and related information

The version of the Answer Wizard Builder provided with the Office 2003 Resource Kit is unchanged from the version released with Office XP.
