Three Windows operating systems commonly are used today. Windows 3.1 and Windows 3.11 (called Windows for Workgroups) are the 16-bit version of the Windows operating system family. Windows 3.1 is introduced in this module. The remainder of the course focuses on Windows 95 and Windows NT, the 32-bit operating systems. This lesson explains the features of the three Windows operating systems.
