The schemata provided in this appendix represent the major databases that are referenced throughout this training kit.

The Northwind Database and the StudyNwind Database Schema

Figure B.1 is a schema diagram for the Northwind database and the StudyNwind database. (The StudyNwind database is a relative duplication of the Northwind database.) The diagram was generated in the SQL Server Enterprise Manager. The schema shows the tables in the Northwind and StudyNwind databases. The columns in each table and the relationships between the tables are shown. Use the schema diagram to understand the structure of the databases when you are working with them in the examples and exercises in this training kit or whenever you use these sample databases.
