About This Chapter

Database data is commonly published to Internet and intranet Web pages. In this chapter, you will learn how to automatically generate Web pages from your Microsoft SQL Server databases.

Full-text indexing and searching in SQL Server 7 give you the ability to perform complex linguistic searches that are not normally possible on text or character data in a relational database. This chapter also shows you how to set up full-text indexing and introduces you to full-text searches.

Before You Begin

To complete the lessons in this chapter, you must

• Have installed SQL Server 7
• Be able to log on to SQL Server as an Administrator
• Have installed the StudyNwind database.
