Adds a reference count to an existing chapter.

HRESULT AddRefChapter (    HCHAPTER    hChapter,    DBREFCOUNT *pcRefCount);

Parameters

hChapter

[in]
The handle of the chapter for which to increment the reference count.

pcRefCount

[out]
A pointer to memory in which to return the reference count of the chapter handle. If pcRefCount is a null pointer, no reference count is returned.

Return Code

S_OK

The method succeeded.

E_FAIL

A provider-specific error occurred.

DB_E_BADCHAPTER

hChapter was invalid.

E_UNEXPECTED

ITransaction::Commit or ITransaction::Abort was called, and the object is in a zombie state.
