The ideal electronic commerce relationship between two businesses exists where the data generated using the computer system of Company A is transmitted over the Internet to Company B, and vice versa. The goal is to have complete confidence in both business systems, and that the data, information, and transactions transmitted and received by both organizations is correct and the processing of that data is also correct.
