Tracing is a tool used for troubleshooting a system. You must create a Routing Key for the tracing utility to work. The files created by a trace provide detailed information about the sequence of events occurring within the Adapter for SAP system. The ideal way to use tracing is when you have isolated and reproduced a problem. Tracing can produce large log files that occupy disk space and may delay application response time.
If you want to trace the IDoc Handler component, consider running the trace after you select the message type. Running the trace on all message types will create a large log file.
