IDoc Handler

The IDoc Handler is a COM object within BizTalk Adapter for SAP that processes IDocs sent from an SAP R/3 system. The IDoc Handler converts the IDoc into an ASCII IDoc delimited file and delivers it to a Microsoft Message Queue.

The IDoc Handler also guarantees successful IDoc delivery to the Message Queue by using a Transaction Identifier (TID) that conforms to the SAP Transactional Remote Function Call (tRFC). The IDoc Handler uses the TID to notify the SAP R/3 system either that the IDoc was received successfully, or to resend it.
