Before You Begin

To complete the exercises in this chapter, you will need to do the following:

• Complete the exercises in Chapter 3, "Configuring a Microsoft Exchange Server 2003 Infrastructure."

• Have Exchange Server 5.5 installed on the Microsoft Windows 2000 Server domain controller, Server01, in the litware.com domain and have Exchange Server 2003 installed on the Microsoft Windows Server 2003 server, Server02, in the same domain and Exchange organization.

To complete the migration process that began as coexistence in Chapter 4, "Coexistence with Previous Versions of Microsoft Exchange Server 2003," you will need:

• A domain controller running Windows 2000 Server SP3 or later installed as Server03 in the fabrikam.com domain. This server should be installed with Exchange 2000 Server in the Fabrikam organization.
