18. Smoother Media Playback

Audio and video playback should be simple. But on my PC, I always seemed to be missing this codec or lacking that player update. Web clips stuttered. Casual use of Photoshop would cause dropouts in my MP3s as the software accessed my hard drive.

On my Mac, video and audio playback are smooth as glass. The audio stays synchronized with the picture. Streaming media behaves. My MP3s don't miss a beat, even when I fire up other programs. I haven't Googled for codecs or tweaked my display settings a single time.

Media doesn't have to be mediocre. Switch to a Mac; you'll enjoy your media more.
