Edit User Accounts

To make changes to any of your user accounts, you must be an administrator. Open the Accounts preference pane in the System Preferences and click the user name in the account list. You’ll be able to change just about everything concerning that user’s account. The only thing you cannot change is the user’s short name because this is the name of the user’s home folder.
