802.11e

The 802.11e standard is a quality of service (QoS) extension to the MAC for priori- tizing traffic within the 802.11 standard in order to provide services for data, voice, and video. Being a MAC extension, 802.11e is common to all of the physical layer standards (802.11b, 802.11a, and 802.11g).
