At the end of a work session, Windows users can shut down Photoshop by clicking the Close button in the upper-right corner of the Photoshop window. Mac users can choose Photoshop→Quit Photoshop.
Tip | Windows users can also choose File→Exit or press Ctrl+Q on the keyboard. Mac users can also press z+Q on the keyboard. |
All files open in Photoshop close. If any changes were made to an open file since it was last saved, a dialog box appears, asking whether you want to save the changes (refer to Figure 3-19). Click Don’t Save to close the image without saving the changes; click Save to save the changes and close the image; or click Cancel to cancel the entire shutting down operation.
