The Undo command, Edit→Undo, puts you back one step, removing the last modification.
After you choose the Undo command from the Edit menu, the command changes to the Redo command on the Edit menu. In other words, you can undo an action, and then redo it, and then undo it, and then redo it, and so on, until you make up your mind or collapse from exhaustion, whichever comes first.
Tip | The Undo command works even after you choose File→Print or File→Print One Copy. This means that you can adjust an image, print it to see how it looks, and undo the adjustment if you don’t like it. |
Warning | Choosing File→Page Setup — or any other command except Print — wipes out your chance to undo an adjustment. The Undo command also doesn’t work after you print with the File→Print with Preview command. So, if you need to undo an adjustment after using Print with Preview, you’ll need to use the History palette to move back a few steps. |
