In Chapter 5, you learn how to choose colors using the Color picker, the Color palette, and the Swatch palette. In this chapter, you discover how to apply those colors using the Brush tool and the Pencil tool.
You won’t find many of these brushes available from the Brushes palette in a traditional painter’s box. In this chapter you find out how to change preset brushes, create custom brushes, save your brushes, and load brush libraries into the Brushes palette. In addition, you use the new Color Replacement tool to paint with one color while removing another (a great tool for removing red eye). Finally, you learn how to create a panorama or photo montage with several images using the new Photomerge command.
