Chapter 10 described how the security model works within InfoPath and explained that to utilize the full functionality of the InfoPath SDK and access system and external resources, you need to create trusted forms.
This chapter looks at how to create and distribute trusted forms to users, starting with an introduction to RegForm, one of the tools provided in the InfoPath Software Developers Kit (SDK). You’ll discover how to create trusted forms from a command- line utility and how to create installation programs using scripting and Windows Installer packages. You’ll also find out how to customize the installation programs that you create, as well as how to manually create and distribute trusted forms.
By the end of this chapter, you should be able to use your newfound skills to create and deploy fully trusted forms in a wide variety of situations.
