What's NewExchange administrators spend the majority of their time working with users and groups. The good news is that the administration tools provided in Exchange 2003 are similar to the tools provided in Exchange 2000, so there shouldn't be too much of a learning curve to get started. The administration area has some new features and enhancements, including an updated version of the Exchange Task Wizard and new query-based distribution groups. Managing and moving Mailboxes is easier now and includes some of the most commonly requested features from previous versions. Last but not least, the user interface for managing Public folders has been enhanced. You can now view folder contents from within the Exchange System Manager. For experienced Exchange administrators, the workflow and toolset is almost identical to the previous version; however, some tools and features have been updated to make the administration job a little easier. |
