1.13. Where can we go for more answers? The first book on ESA (O'Reilly's Enterprise Services Architecture by Woods and Mattern, mentioned earlier) is a good place to get an overview of what ESA is all about. The latest book, called mySAP ERP for Dummies: ESA Edition (Vogel and Kimbell), also covers a lot of basic ESA topics, as does SAP NetWeaver for Dummies (Woods and Word) (both published by For Dummies). SDN (http://sdn.sap.com) is one of the best locations for information about SAP and ESA. The Enterprise Services Inventory preview is there; it shows what kinds of services SAP will be introducing. SAP.com also offers a variety of other high-level information as well as a service marketplace. ASUG, long a valuable resource for those in the SAP ecosystem, is starting a special interest group for ESA that will include thought leaders such as Paul Kurchina. You can find details on this special interest group at http://www.asug.com. |
