11.4. In which application and process areas are analytic composites being created?

SAP xApp Analytics are being applied to every industry area and every broad area of functionality. However, some areas are on the front burner.

Consumer products, high technology, life sciences, utilities, and analytics for applications such as CRM, finance, and human capital management are among the most important focuses for the first wave of analytics because these areas have such a quick and dramatic impact on productivity and they reduce dependence on expert users.

For specific industries, and for general applicable functionality, analytic composites are being developed to fill gaps that may exist in or between enterprise systems, or to provide innovative ways of solving well-known challenges. In all cases, analytic composites may be focused on serving new requirements created by recent developments in industries or regulatory environments.
