When you review a document containing tracked changes, you decide whether to accept or reject the changes. As you accept or reject changes, Word removes the revision marks.
Open a document in which changes were tracked.
Move over any change to view details about it.
Word displays the name of the person who made the change, the date and time of the change, and the details of the change.
Press + to place the insertion point at the beginning of the document.
Click the Next icon () to review the first change.
Word highlights the change.
You can click the Next icon () again to leave a change unaffected.
Click to accept the change or to reject it.
Word accepts or rejects the change and removes the revision marks.
Repeat steps 4 to 5 to review all revisions; if you need to move backwards to a change you previously skipped, click the Previous icon ().
When you have reviewed all changes, this dialog box appears.
Click OK.
Is there a way I can work in the document without addressing the changes or viewing the tracking marks?
You can work viewing the original document before changes or viewing the edited document after changes; in either case, you can hide the revision marks.
Click on the Reviewing toolbar.
Click Final to view the edited document without revision marks or click Original to view the document without revision marks, before any changes were made.
