You can use Voice Command mode to issue verbal commands that you do not want to appear as part of your text. For example, you can save your document or open a different document.
If your microphone is off, click Microphone.
The microphone is on if the Dictation and Voice Command buttons appear on the Language toolbar.
Click or say Voice Command.
The message area displays Voice Command to indicate the mode you are using.
