Tip House is chief systems analyst at the OCLC Online Computer Library Center, Inc., a nonprofit organization dedicated to furthering access to the world's information, where he develops and supports test automation tools and document management systems for the Web. Although his main interest has always been software development, he also has a long-standing interest in software testing, software measurement, and quality assurance, having presented papers on these subjects at development, measurement, and testing conferences in the United States and Europe. He has achieved Certified Quality Analyst, Certified Software Quality Engineer, and Lead Ticket Auditor certifications, and managed the independent test function at OCLC during their three-year successful effort to become registered to the ISO 9000 standards.
