Of course, what I am trying to do with old Roscoe is to inject some common sense into our software engineering management discussions. The best way to do that is to try to clear away as much of the jargon as we can. You might find that helpful in your discussions with others as well.

Of course, I'm not really done with estimating. The "rubber meets the road" part of estimating is coming up with a schedule.
