Summary

The success of your product in the international market is completely dependent on how well your localization process works. Choosing how you will approach this at the beginning of your product development is critical, since the way your developers write the code depends on the localization technique you choose. What I did not talk about in this chapter is the specific localization tool that is used at Microsoft (called LocStudio) that is not publicly available hence, why I did not want to spend any time on it. There are several tools available on the public market that can help you convert your application or translate it into a different language. What I feel is more important than the execution of the tool is to decide how your localization will be architected. That is what is presented in this chapter and is what will affect a build team the most.
