Finishing imagesapplying adjustments to the final images for a clientis often the most critical step of the workflow. Finishing an image or a group of images puts the final polish on the look of a shot.

The images for Grande Agency will be used for print advertising and in-store displays. The color of the garment is, of course, important, but these images are also meant to convey the branding of the apparel company. As a result, we need to make sure that the two groups of photos have the same look and feel.

Once we have adjusted the look of the images, we need to burn the images onto a CD or DVD for delivery. This also involves printing a contact sheet that catalogs the content of the disc for the client.

Finally, after all the hard work you've put into this project, it's a good idea to back up your work. Indeed, backing up is a fundamental part of any workflow. Aperture allows you to back up your Library using a built-in system called a vault. In this lesson, you will use a vault to create a backup of your Library.
