Document management and "housekeeping" are often a big part of your digital photography workflow. Aperture is designed to handle many of these chores for you, allowing you to easily create multiple versions, backups, and archives.

Aperture provides all of the features that you need to manage and back up your images. Because you can choose to keep managed images inside Aperture's Library, and referenced images stored on other drives, it's possible to create sophisticated workflows for your own archiving and image-tracking purposes, as well as for projects where you are collaborating with others who need to share your image files.

In this lesson, we'll explore Library management as well as Aperture's various export options.
