PowerPoint can print handouts in a variety of styles, from one to nine slides per page. These layouts are ready to go from the Print dialog box.
Click on File. The File menu will appear.
Click on Print. The Print dialog box will open.
Click the down arrow next to the Print what list box and click on Handouts. The option will appear in the list box.
Click on the Frame slides check box to check or clear it as desired. If checked, it will place a black border around each slide image on the printout. This can be useful for slides with a white background.
Click on the Print hidden slides check box to check or clear it as desired.
Click the down arrow next to Slides per page, and click the number of slides you want on each handout page.
Select any other options as needed. For example, choose a page range or a number of copies, as you learned in Chapter 3, "Learning About Presentations."
Click on OK. The handouts will be printed.
