Configure Your Personal Address Book Card

Panther’s Address Book application stores one specific card for each user account that is tagged as the Personal record, or “My Card.” The information on this card is used throughout Mac OS X by a number of different applications, including Mail and Panther’s built-in faxing feature.

Customize It!

To change the picture that is used on your Address Book card, display your card and drag a new image file from a Finder window on top of the current picture. If the picture needs to be resized, Panther will show you what the new version will look like; drag the size slider to adjust the cropping. When the picture looks good, click Set. Remember, if you do not like the results, you can always click Cancel and try another image file.
