Difficulty Level 2
You do not need to install third-party applications such as Adobe Acrobat to create documents in the popular PDF (Portable Document Format) format. As long as you can print from an application, you can use the standard Print dialog box to produce PDF documents. PDF documents can be opened and viewed on-screen by any computer that can run Adobe’s free Acrobat Reader (available at www.adobe.com), so they are great for distributing documents to users of different computer platforms, such as UNIX and Windows.
Did You Know? | You can use the settings of the Page Setup dialog box to adjust the orientation and scale of your document before you create a PDF document. |
