With just a few clicks of the mouse, you can turn on the voice control system of your Mac, which comes as standard equipment with Panther. Your Mac can perform all sorts of chores via voice commands; although controlling your computer with your voice is not as precise as using your mouse and keyboard, I think that you will find that voice commands can help you use your Mac more efficiently.

To view the default spoken commands that Panther will understand, click the Open Speakable Items Folder button on the Speech pane of System Preferences.
