Panther’s Services menu enables you to streamline many common tasks — such as sending a file to a Bluetooth network device or creating a new sticky note with the contents of a file — without requiring you to launch the associated application.

Note that the services available for a specific file depend on the file’s content and format. Some services are also available only when you have already selected a section of text or an image within a document or Web page.

Did You Know?

Some third-party applications install their own commands in the Services menu, such as BBEdit and QuicKeys.
