Work Automatically with CD and DVD Discs

If you often listen to audio CDs or watch DVD movies, you can save yourself a few keystrokes each time that you load a disc: Set Panther to automatically launch your favorite application depending on the disc type.

The default applications are good choices — iTunes for audio CDs, iPhoto for picture CDs, and DVD Player for DVD movies — but you may specify other applications that you prefer instead.

Did You Know?

If you load a blank recordable CD or DVD disc, Panther enables you to format that disc to accept files and folders from the Finder window.
