Difficulty Level 1
Need more screen real estate to display a large number of files in the Finder window? Here is a trick that is popular among Apple power users: You can hide the Finder window toolbar when you are not using the toolbar buttons, which expands the area available for displaying items while shrinking the actual size of the window. When you hide the toolbar, the Finder Places sidebar also disappears, giving the window a rather lean, Spartan look.
Did You Know? | You can always minimize a Finder window by double-clicking on the title bar. |
