Add Web Sites to the Dock

Do you have a favorite Web site that you visit several times a day? If so, you can check that Web page with a single click by adding the site to your dock, where it will appear with an @ icon. When you click the @, Panther automatically launches Safari, connects to the Internet, if necessary, and loads the site. The default dock arrangement already includes a Web site: the Mac OS X main page on Apple’s Web site at www.apple.com.

Did You Know?

When you minimize a Safari window, a miniature thumbnail of the Web page appears in the dock.
