Summary

This Chapter provides an overview of installing and using additional Unix software on your Mac OS X system. Apple Developer Tools and X11 were installed, bridging the gap between traditional Macintosh functionality and Unix. Fink and the GUI-based FinkCommander were introduced as tools to use for installing Unix software and keeping it up to date.
