Chapter 12: Securing Informix

This chapter focuses on securing Informix. Some of the problems discussed earlier will require a security patch to completely remove the holes but, for some of them, it's possible to reduce the risk of exposure with configuration changes and permission changes.

Keep the Server Patched

As and when new patches are made available by IBM, they should be tested and deployed to production systems as soon as possible.
