INTRODUCTION
Suppose you've made a change to your document but decide you don't want the change after all. Instead of starting over, you can undo and redo your changes. The Undo and Redo options are convenient when you want to see how your document looks with and without a change.
TIP
Keyboard Undo
A quick and easy way to undo an action is to use the Ctrl+Z shortcut key; you can redo an action using Ctrl+Y.
TIP
No More Undo
When you close a document, its Undo/Redo "memory" is cleared, so be sure you are happy with any changes before you save and close your document.
