Part 2. Getting Started with Word

When you first start working in Microsoft Word, you will begin by entering and inserting text. When you begin to create documents that you can move around in, you will need to save and close those documents. Eventually, you will need to know how to reopen the documents you create and perhaps move text around, insert new text (or other items you will learn about in Parts 3, 4, 5, and 6), and even change the view of the document.

If you need to switch between two documents on which you are working, Word makes that a simple task. Then, when you have saved your documents again because you know you should save frequently this part will show you how to preview and print your documents.
