With the Office document you want to save as a Web page displayed onscreen, open the File menu and select Save As Web Page to open the Save As dialog box.
In the File Name field, type a descriptive name for the file you want to save (for example, Sales21).
Click the Save button. The document is saved as a Web page (that is, an HTML file), and the filename you assigned appears in the Web page's title bar.
INTRODUCTION
To use the documents you create using Microsoft Office as Web pages, you must first save them in the correct file format HTML. Office enables you to save your files in HTML format and then open and edit them later as necessary. In this task, you learn how to save an Excel worksheet as a Web page.
TIP
Saving Workbooks Versus Worksheets
Instead of saving an entire Excel workbook as a Web page (the default), you can click the Selection: Sheet option button in the Save As dialog box to save only the active worksheet as a Web page.
TIP
Changing the Title
If you want a name other than the filename to display in the title bar of your browser when viewing this document, click the Change Title button on the Save As dialog box.
