INTRODUCTION

You can easily move or resize objects including text, art, tables, and charts on a slide, or you can move them to another slide. In addition to resizing and moving objects, you can cut, copy, and paste them just as you do in Word (refer to p. 38 for more information).

TIP

Correct Proportions

Using the corner border handles to resize an object increases or decreases proportionately. If you use the side border handles, you increase the horizontal and vertical sizes separately, possibly making the object look disproportionate.

TIP

Rotating Objects

To rotate an object, double-click the object to open its Format dialog box. Select the Size tab and alter the Rotation angle so that it alters the displayed direction of the object for example, by 90°.
