A color scheme is a coordinated set of colors for all the basic desktop objects. With a color scheme, you can change the color of everything at once and wind up with colors that look good together and provide reasonable visibility. (You don't want to wind up with black text on black title bars, for example.) To change color schemes, follow these steps:
Right-click an empty space on the desktop and choose Personalize from the shortcut menu. The Personalization window opens.
Click the Window Color And Appearance link to display the Appearance Settings dialog box, shown in Figure 12-8.

Make a selection from the Color Scheme list.
Click OK.
Note | The color schemes that are available to you depend in part on your choice of window and button styles. If you choose Windows Classic windows and buttons , all the Windows Me color schemes are available. |
