Structuring Your DNS


The structure of your rootserver network should be planned just as if you were setting up a corporate DNS without rootservers. You should disperse your servers over your network, taking into account such things as network connectivity, latency, how links are likely to fail, and so on. This is discussed in more detail in Chapter 6, "Troubleshooting DNS."
