Duh Gallery

Duh Gallery enables you to display all the photos you've uploaded to your blog as a gallery organized by date (Figure 35).

Figure 35. Duh Gallery makes it easy to display a gallery of images uploaded to your blog.

Duh Gallery was written by Nate Ritter and can be found at blog.perfectspace.com/2006/03/28/duh-gallery-the-simple-wordpress-photo-gallery-plugin/.

Tip

  • Duh Gallery only displays images that were uploaded using the Upload feature of the Write Post or Write Page administration panel. It does not display images uploaded via FTP. We explain how to upload images in Chapter 3.

Tip

  • We tell you about setting Miscellaneous Options in Chapter 2.

Tips

  • We explain how to upload files in Chapter 3.

  • Although you can use Duh Gallery code in a post, it may be more practical to use it on a Page so your photo gallery is more easily accessible.

  • If you normally use the Rich Text Editor for editing posts and Pages you may need to switch to HTML view to successfully enter the PHP code.

  • Read the instructions on Duh Gallery's Web page for details on customizing it.
