Other Useful Plugins

As we mentioned earlier in this chapter, there are hundreds of WordPress plugins. These plugins offer many possibilities for enhancing your blog.

In the remainder of this chapter, we introduce you to some of the plugins we use by telling you what they do and where to obtain them and providing basic setup information. Keep in mind that most of these plugins offer far more features and customization options than what we have room to discuss in this book. Check the developer's documentation for detailed instructions on how to install, configure, and use the plugin.

• Although most plugins are available for free, plugin developers work hard to build, test, document, support, and enhance their plugins. If you like a developer's plugin, let him know by sending a donation. Even a few dollars can go a long way to showing developers how much you appreciate their work.
