Sherlock

Sherlock (Figure 1) is Apple's Internet search utility. It enables you to search for information found on Web sites all over the world, including stock quotes and news, business listings, movie show times in your area, and flight information.

This chapter explain show to use Sherlock's search features to search the Internet.

Tip

• To use Sherlock, your computer must have access to the Internet. Chapter 13 covers accessing the Internet.

To launch Sherlock

Open the Sherlock icon in the Applications folder (Figure 2).

Sherlock opens and displays a list of channels in its Toolbar collection (Figure 1).
