They say an elephant never forgets. Well, neither does a good leader. In a notebook or computer file, take note of the types of awards, gifts or other rewards that each person on your team seems to enjoy…and those they don’t. That way, you can tailor awards to fit the specific needs of the person you are honoring.
Not only will employees enjoy their rewards more, but it communicates that you are paying attention.
