Recognize and reward milestone achievement.

Set department goals for certification, standards, attendance, etc., and present appropriate items with your company logo when employees reach the milestones.

For example, a manager at a factory may present a company jacket when an employee reaches a certain level of technical certification. A manager in an office environment might present a desk item with a company logo to employees who reach a comparable skill level.
