RECOGNIZE THE NEW MOM OR DAD

It’s important to let your employees know you care about them on a personal level—to create a connection past the workplace. When an employee has a baby, it is a wonderful opportunity to send a thoughtful gift—like an illustrated picture book—to the person’s home as congratulations.

Make it a recognition moment by including a hand-written note of thanks for the person’s accomplishments. Then, in the front of the book, write the baby’s name and a brief message, and sign your name.
