A DAY OFF FOR NO REASON AT ALL

When an employee does something worthy of celebration, give her a day off—with absolutely no restrictions. You might want to make up an “I feel too good to come to work today” pass and let your employee use it whenever she chooses.

Think of it as a school hall pass for us grown-ups.
