Contrary to popular belief, no news is not good news at the office. People need to know when they are on the right track. Let them know through recognition.
Like what someone is doing? Reward him publicly. You’ll be amazed at how many people start doing the same thing.
So, in short, you aren’t just rewarding people for doing their jobs. You are rewarding them for doing their jobs well.
